Made in Marseille

A label to promote Marseille's products and expertise

The City of Marseille, in partnership with the Tourist Office, is launching the Fabriqué à Marseille label to support and promote the products and expertise of its craftsmen and manufacturers. In 2025, the first edition of the label campaign was a resounding success: 107 labels were awarded, including 99 to products and 8 to shared production sites.

What is the “Made in Marseille” label?

The products are divided into 4 main categories:

  • Food (excluding catering)
  • Fashion and accessories
  • Household goods
  • Other manufactured products

To qualify for the label, products must meet 3 criteria:

  • The product must be manufactured or processed locally
  • The existence of proven, high-quality know-how
  • Integration of social and environmental issues

The label is awarded for 3 years.

Discover the artisans and products of Fabriqué à Marseille

Marseille is bursting with talent, with artisans and manufacturers who make their products in Marseille. Among the first to be awarded the label are, of course, the historic soap-makers and santon-makers, pastis and navettes, but also espadrilles from Marseille, homemade energy bars, upcycled clothing and vases made from lifebuoys.

Buying local is the best way to discover Marseille, and to help your friends and family discover it by bringing them gifts!
