  • Marseille in 3 words

    Solar, bubbling, authentic

  • My favourite neighbourhood

Saint-Victor. Historical district with its Abbey so famous in Marseille since it is there that the famous orange blossom shuttles are blessed every year at Candlemas, but also trendy district with great addresses for a drink and a meal.

  • My favourite area

Social networks, up to date in real time with all the news, to go out, have a bite to eat, find good music!

Le Café de l'Abbaye

Le Café de l’Abbaye is the place to go for a drink. People from Marseille meet tourists and enjoy Marseille’s beautiful light. Holding a pastis in one hand and some panisses in the other. You will need to arrive quite early in order to get a table otherwise feel free to do like the regulars namely sitting on top of the low wall to admire the ‘Vieux-Port’ (Old Port) and the Palais du Pharo !
P.S: Do not hesitate to discover the area: le Repaire de la Poissonnerie, le Poulpe, la Relève or l’Ecaillerie.

Le Baletti

Baletti is the place to go for a glass of wine, a soft drink or a cocktail, with a view of the Old Port and tasty tapas! All week long the bar hosts concerts, karaoke, and everyone dances from 10:30-11pm. The perfect spot to unwind after a drink and still get home at a reasonable hour as the Baletti closes at 2.30am. A must try!

Le Viaghji di Fonfon

The Viaghji di Fonfon is a must see passage for an apéretif with an amazing view of the Vallon des Auffes. Very often, this bar is full but don’t be afraid the customers settle on the small fishermen’s port to taste some panisses and drink a cocktail? And every tuesday nights during the summer, you can dance with Calabrun‘s live music !

Le Red Lion Pointe Rouge

La Pointe rouge is definitely the place to be for all the people living in the neighborhood, skaters, kitesurfers or beer-lovers. The Red Lion. offers an amazing view of the Vieille Chapelle beach for a sunset that’s really worth it. And if you manage to find a place on the  terrace please feel free to go in front of it with a takeaway drink. Good vibe guaranteed.

Le Cabanon de Paulette

Between the Bain des Dame beach and Anse des sablettes, a small terrace by the waterfront is hidden le Cabanon de Paulette. Opens everyday from 8pm to midnight. This bar offers an aperitif or little snack to share with a seaview. Don’t forget to book otherwise don’t  panic, you can still order takeway to eat on your towel.

Les Réformés

Les Réformés opened at the end of 2021 and welcomes you onto the amazing terrace of the Cinema at l’Artplexe. To have a drink after a movie or eating and sharing some food with friends or to just relax with a fruit juice and a coffee on the terrace, Les Réformés is the new place to be! Its best asset is the amazing view of the church of the same name.

Le Dantes Skylounge

A must see Rooftop for its view of the Vieux- port entrance, Dantes Skylounge offers a sophisticated cocktails menu, just perfect for a date with your crush you would like to impress or a trendy evening with  friends. Especially in the summertime, with marine fresh air and the amazing colours of Marseille in the evening.

Le Bar de la Marine

A kind of institution in Marseille and a must see on the Vieux-port. Joins us in the Bar de la Marine, from 7 am for breakfast, or until 2 am for a late apéritif on weekdays, and 3 am on weekends. Here you can share some food, enjoy a cocktail (or even two) and enjoy the  animated athmosphere on the Quai de Rive-Neuves all year thanks to its covered terrace.

Le R2 Rooftop

Le R2, the most famous rooftop in Marseille is going to thrill you with its scheduling during this summer thanks to the international Djs. The new customers will be able to dance again  from May 12th, or even to enjoy a drink or eating with its amazing waterfront view.

Le Sportbeach

When it’s getting too hot in Marseille, what is better than to enjoy a drink by the swimming pool ? Let’s go to the Sportbeach to enjoy a nice lunch, an aperetif or even a crazy night! You can also chill on a deckchair. The Sportbeach also offers brunch on sundays for the gourmets.

Le toit-terrasse de la Friche Belle-de-Mai

Summertime in Marseille starts with the reopening  of the toit-terrasse de la Friche Belle-de-Mai. Every year its eclectic musical  programme, its chill vibe where you can bring your own picnic ( except drink and beverage) attracts all kinds of guests.
