Invader was here

Take your children on an egg hunt? No, Spaces Invaders ! These colourful little mosaics are hidden in several districts of the city! You’ve probably already seen them. During the summer of 2020, the street artist Invader installed his works all over the Phocaean city, and there are now almost 97 of them, some well hidden. It’s up to you to find them!

Explore Marseille differently

Fancy getting off the beaten track to discover Marseille? Try a ride on a tuk-tuk, an electric bike or a scooter: original ways to explore the city in a fun and different way. More of a walker? Notre-Dame de la Garde, a must-see!

If there’s one thing you can’t miss in Marseille, it’s our famous Good Mother, Notre-Dame de la Garde, which dominates the city from its hilltop. There are several ways to get there: on foot (about 20 minutes from the Vieux-Port), by bike or by bus (line 60). If you’re a family, the most practical option is to take the little tourist train, which departs from the Old Port and takes you straight to the basilica.
