Description
Raphaël Feuillâtre's program pays tribute to the great masters of Spanish and South American music. He possesses the duende and sensuality needed to bring this repertoire to its fullest potential.
Raphaël Feuillâtre, guitar
Born in Djibouti, Raphaël Feuillâtre grew up in Cholet in a family with no musical background. “The guitar chose me,” says the man who has become the new face of the guitar on the world stage. He fell in love with the instrument at first sight before studying at the Cholet Music School, continuing at the Nantes Conservatory, and completing his training at the Paris Conservatory.
His concerts follow one after another, yet no two are alike. In 2022, he signed an exclusive contract with Deutsche Grammophon. The following year, his album topped the charts on Apple Music. He made his debut at Carnegie Hall and has remained at the pinnacle of his field ever since.
