Description
A rock concert that blends light and shadow, performed as a duo with Guillaume Bonnet on percussion.
New, raw, and intimate songs—and much more—at one of Marseille’s coziest venues.
A singer-songwriter, Lo Pailhès has been writing rock songs with meaningful lyrics since 1994. Self-taught and passionate, he has forged a unique artistic world where minimalist, twilight-like melodies give full rein to uncompromising, direct, and incisive lyrics.
His writing draws on a careful observation of the world. His own feelings blend with imagined or reinterpreted stories, in a style that is both grotesque and serious, where reality mingles with dreams. A nearly Baudelairean melancholy runs through his songs, carried by sharp, staccato phrasing and dense atmospheres that several critics have compared to the world of Lou Reed.
