2025 brought us plenty of surprises, with no fewer than six concerts!
JUL, the one and only, kicked things off on 23 and 24 May in a roaring, packed Vélodrome, with more than 73,000 fans in attendance! A week later, on 31 May, Bruce Springsteen shook Marseille, after cancelling his initially scheduled concert in 2024.
On 6 and 7 June, Englishman Ed Sheeran arrived in Marseille for the very first time and quite literally set the stadium alight! To top it all off, Soprano joined him on stage for a surprise appearance.
On 21 June, for the Fête de la Musique, the stadium turned into a massive open-air club: David Guetta kicked off his stadium tour with a night worthy of Ibiza’s wildest parties.
Then, a complete change of vibe on 28 June: Marseille legends IAM got us “dancing the Mia” with nearly twenty guests. And right afterwards, Alonzo fired things up on 19 July, to the delight of rap fans across the city.
After an electrifying 2025 programme, the question arises: what does 2026 have in store for us?
One thing is certain: the stadium will be buzzing with Corsican colours on 23 May as Corsu Mezu Mezu takes centre stage, an exceptional show bringing together renowned artists straight from the Isle of Beauty. Then, our very own Jul makes his big return on 29 and 30 May for two nights that are already shaping up to be unforgettable. A few days later, the much-anticipated (and somewhat controversial) arrival of Kanye West (Ye) on 11 June promises a truly unique experience. Finally, on 1 July, Bad Bunny will close this first wave of concerts with an electrifying performance that will have the entire Vélodrome dancing.
And after that? The mystery remains… but one thing is certain: the season is far from over, and Marseille hasn’t finished thrilling the crowds just yet.
