Self-managed store where you can stock up on good produce: fresh produce,
bulk, hygiene and cleaning products, staples,
organic, local, fair trade...
It's a dream supermarket, designed and managed by a group of people motivated by the same goals. The common base is to invent a place of consumption that allows access for all to quality products (local, organic, production methods) and that is a space for exchanges and links around food and social issues.
To buy from this store, you need to be a member, i.e. participate in its operation. The members of the cooperative, along with a few salaried employees, carry out the daily tasks of the supermarket for around 3 consecutive hours every 4 weeks. Being a member of the supermarket also means that you are its "owner" and take an active part in decision-making (products available, internal policy, prices applied, etc.).
Joining forces and creating a cooperative and participatory supermarket ultimately means creating your own supply solutions, helping to support local, environmentally-conscious producers, and giving yourself the opportunity to consume healthy, responsible products on a daily basis.
In short, it's about working together and moving beyond the status of passive customer to do your bit for the local environment.
