Once a dye house for fishing nets, the Estaque cauldron has become a place of memory and creation. This historic site, witness to the harsh working conditions of fishermen, is now open to art, crafts and social inclusion.
This 19th-century building, which was also a prudhommie, is listed as a historic monument. It has preserved its vats, winches and basins where fishermen treated their nets with tannin to protect them from mildew.
Recently opened to visitors, the Voile Impulsion cauldron has become a place of memory and creation, of meeting and sharing. This historic building, witness to the harsh working conditions of fishermen, is now dedicated to arts, crafts and social inclusion.
