Ferry service to the islands of If and Frioul departs from the Old Port at the corner of Quai des Belges and Quai de Rive Neuve.

Departures from the Old Port daily, weather permitting. The landing stage at Frioul is located on Quai Léo Lagrange. The fleet consists of several vessels bearing iconic names such as: Chevalier Paul, Edmond Dantès, and Henri-Jacques Espérandieu. They are designed to comply with current safety standards and incorporate features aimed at minimizing their environmental impact. Each vessel features a sheltered indoor area as well as an outdoor deck where passengers can enjoy the crossing. Technical specifications: Capacity: 160 passengers and 4 crew members per vessel Length: 24 meters Maximum speed: 20 knots

Fare for metropolitan residents as of July 1, 2026, per person
Conditions:
Reside in one of the 92 municipalities of Aix-Marseille Métropole and present proof of residence at the ticket counter. Free for children under 4 years old, except for group travel.
Tickets may be purchased at the Gare Maritime ticket counter (open 7 days a week) on the day of departure or the day before, upon presentation of proof of residence at the ticket counter.
