Access to these charging points is generally via a badge or a roaming charging card, which is used to start the charging session and is available from mobility operators. The application ChargeMap, available on browser, Android and iOS, currently lists almost 298 recharging points for electric vehicles in Marseille.
Motorists can use search filters to find charging points that are completely free of charge. Another advantage of this platform is its collaborative aspect: motorists can share their experiences and report the existence of a charging point that has not yet been referenced.
In addition to ChargeMap, there are other interesting applications for making electric vehicle journeys safer: Bison Futé, Nextcharge, Chargeprice ou encore Plugshare.
