  • Prado Sud beach

Prado Sud beach is fairly wide and offers a lovely stretch of sand for relaxing in the sun. It is made up of golden sand, with an uninterrupted view of the coastline. Prado Sud beach is generally appreciated for its size and width, making it easy for visitors to find a place to set up. This beach is also popular with water sports enthusiasts, such as kite surfing and windsurfing, due to the favourable winds in the area.

  • Plage du Prado Nord

This is the northernmost beach and is popular for its lively atmosphere and water sports. Showers and toilets are available on site, as is a ramp for disabled access. Bordered by the Parc du Prado and its green spaces, it is close to the surrounding restaurants and cafés.

  • Huveaune beach

This small beach is located at the mouth of the river Huveaune. Plage de l’Huveaune is a small beach of sand and pebbles with a picturesque view of the Mediterranean Sea. It is less busy than Marseille’s other beaches, making it a quiet place to enjoy the sun and swim. It doesn’t have as many services and facilities as the other Prado beaches, but it does have a real charm that makes it well worth a visit, a popular spot for water sports enthusiasts.

  • Bonneveine beach

This beach is located near the Bonneveine district and is quite popular. It offers a lovely stretch of fine golden sand where you can relax and soak up the sun. The beach is generally well-maintained and supervised during the summer months, making it perfect for families. As well as swimming and lazing around, Bonneveine beach also offers water sports. Bonneveine beach has public showers and toilets.

  • Borély beach

This pretty, wide beach offers plenty of scope for a beach day in good form. At 260 metres long, it is made up of sand and crystal-clear water that is particularly pleasant for swimming. The site has a number of facilities, including snack bars, showers, toilets, children’s play areas and even a volleyball court for lively games in the beautiful southern sunshine. Borély beach is supervised during the summer months, which is particularly ideal for families with young children. The beach precedes a promenade for pedestrians and cyclists, providing optimum access.
