Church Sainte-Marie-Magdeleine Les Chartreux

  • The Chartreux Church is also known as Sainte-Marie Magdeleine. Designed by D. Berger, it was built from 1680 on a basilical plan of a three naves church.

  • The façade is composed of ionic and Corinthian orders, and a peristyle decorated with three columns. To see: the oak door with Magdeleine and Saint Bruno, the statues of Botinelly, the pulpit, a painting by Serre, the high altar, the crib during Christmas time.
    The organ case of local manufacture and the instrumental part of Mutin date from 1912. The instrumental part is a design by Messener. In 1985, the Provençal organ factory carried out a restoration.
