Underwater museum of Marseille is an amazing site, a museal area atypical offering a full immersion : unusual experience with an unprecedented underwater encounter and observation in vivo of relationship between Men and Nature.
Just 100 meters from the beach and at a depth of 5 meters, 10 sculptures are submerged, one of which is connected to a dedicated app. The museum aims to inspire joy—the kind that comes from discovering beauty and the unexpected. It serves as a powerful tool for raising awareness of environmental issues and sparking curiosity about the world of art and water sports.
For individuals:
Visits to the museum are self-guided and conducted at the visitor’s own risk; no reservation is required, and admission is free.

Tips and Best Practices:
Be able to swim (100 meters out and 100 meters back)
