We enjoyed an aperitif with a view!

Good  weather also means outdoor parties, so let’s start on the Corniche Kennedy with the ideal spot on the Prado Nord Beach! la Cabane des Amis. Ideal for a drink facing the sea, sharing tapas and enjoying the sunset. We stayed on the seafront with the open terrace on the Corniche of the famous  Borderline, impossible to get tired of the view or the trendy atmosphere of this spot, remember to book!
On the Saint -Victor side, the timeless  Café de l’Abbaye is the perfect place for an afterwork, but don’t arrive too late if you hope to get a table because the terrace is quickly full. Fortunately, there are two alternatives for you to enjoy the scenery anyway,  le Repaire or the Poulpe !
Located on the heights of the 16th district of Marseille, the  Baou opens its doors again in July and offers an incredible programme all summer long. And for those who prefer a more chill atmosphere, the le Dantes the famous bar of the Sofitel, welcomes you for a cocktail!

Unique evenings on land and at sea!

For the more adventurous, Marseille offers more original places to go out, such as the Couvent Juxtapoz opposite of the Friche Belle-de-Mai, a real place of art and conviviality with a huge garden, ideal for large groups of friends or families. To respect the neighbourhood, the “Convent” closes at 10.30pm. Fortunately, a few minutes away, the most chill spot in Marseille welcomes you until 2am; I’m talking of course about the  Chapiteau la Belle-de-Mai, with its petanque courts and its parties dedicated to electronic music.
The Musée Regards de Provence is joining forces again this year with the Bordeline collective for evenings on the rooftop of the museum, a unique opportunity to enjoy the great view!

A little trip to the sea with the “Love on the Boat” evenings of the Marseille collective  In’oubliables on the Levantin Catamarans. All summer long, the collective organises exceptional evenings at sea from 7pm to 11.30pm for a fee of 30 euros. If your prefer the catamaran, the “Levantin” welcomes you “Sunset Dinner” at sea with sunset on the Frioul island. And for a “green” outing, Eco Calanques offers you a swim in the Frioul Archipelago with a cocktail party until 10.30pm.

Newcomers of the summer

The summer of 2021 brings its share of novelties, original formats, revisited decor or new festivals, there is bound to be something for everyone! l’Alimentation Générale which has had a makeover for this summer, just behind the “Vieux-Port” (Old Port), welcomes you on its pretty terrace with small dishes between 5 and 13 euros and sublime cocktails for 12 euros. A few minutes away,  l’Abri in “Saint-Victor” offers a nice menu with natural wines and small plates to share, we run there from 5pm!  The “Cabaret Aléatoire”is back and at the “théâtre Silvain” no less!  Its festival “Au Large” will make you move, “Arnaud Rebotini”, “Amadou and Mariam”or”Feu”! “Chatterton” among others for the line-up. Head to “Vauban” this time to discover the new spot in the neighbourhood, “Venus Vauban”, a great selection of wines, beers or savoury treats to enjoy all day long!
