It’s time for the 26th edition of Marseille Jazz des Cinq Continents! It’s an important year for the festival, which is decked out in its finest colours with a poster designed by Luci Pina, a young artist based in Leeds, UK. To take you around the world, the festival, always deeply rooted in its time and its territory, remains faithful to its itinerant character within the city and unfolds in iconic sites and heritage of Marseille: de Vieille-Charité, la Friche la Belle de Mai, Conservatoire Pierre Barbizet, and Parc Henri Fabre. These are special moments when the audience and the artists come together in vibrant harmony, creating the magic of the festival.
Marseille Jazz des cinq continents is a festival committed to the city as a whole, encouraging people to come together, share their knowledge of different cultures and peoples, and encourage the practice of the arts. Marseille Jazz des cinq continents is designed to be a place of well-being, a place where people can meet and enjoy each other’s company and the music we all love. We seek to develop a safer space, one in which all people feel valued and respected. As such, and in line with our commitments, we have a zero tolerance policy for harassment of any kind. We support the fair treatment of all people, regardless of their diverse identities.
