Museum of the Decorative Arts, Fashion and Ceramics

Borély castle, a fully restored historical monument and masterpiece of 18th-century architecture,  house the Museum of Decorative Arts, Fashion and Ceramics, with over 1400 m2 of exhibition space.

It  contain the collections of the Ceramics Museum and the Fashion Museum, the decorative arts collections of the Cantini Museum and Museum of Old Marseille, and furniture from Borély.

It  have a total of 200 items of furniture, 563 decorative art objects, 750 ceramic pieces, 5600 fashion items and 1600 accessories, 100 perfume bottles…

Visitors  be able to learn about the personal life and way of living of an 18th-century family, while visiting a museum of today, which offers extensive collections from the 18th century to the present day.

Things to see: an exceptional collection of ceramics, furniture, contemporary glassware, art objects, rare exotic objects, design, fashion and accessories, presented in a fully renovated museum. The objects will be displayed in period rooms, and there will be three exhibitions per year in the fashion study gallery.
