Description
Violinist Liza Kerob, principal soloist with the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, had always dreamed of performing the Goldberg Variations. Federico Hood, principal violist with the Monegasque orchestra, and Thierry Amadi, principal cellist, helped her make that dream a reality.
The Goldberg Variations is one of Bach’s most fascinating works. Glenn Gould made them a “cult classic” in a famous recording.
Russian-American violinist Dmitri Sitkovetsky has painted the aria and the thirty variations in vivid colors. He dedicated his work to Glenn Gould.
