Description
The 47th edition of the Marseille-Cassis run will start on the last Sunday in October at 9 a.m., near the Velodrome Stadium. As in previous years, a participants' village will be open in the Parc Chanot for the two preceding days.
From Velodrome Stadium to Cassis via La Gineste, over 20,000 riders from all over the world set off on the Marseille-Cassis - AG2R La Mondiale, traditionally held on the last Sunday in October.
Program:
Start near Velodrome Stadium at 9 a.m.
12-kilometre crossing of the Parc National des Calanques, an exceptional area.
Arrival in Cassis on the upper slopes of the town, in the heart of the vineyards.
Total distance 20km.
Each year, in parallel with the race, you'll find a number of key points of interest, such as the "Espace des Experts" and the "Race Info" point. Visitors can also take advantage of an entertaining and lively village with all the partners and exhibitors present.
The welcome village has become an institution at major sporting events. Every large-scale event needs a village to welcome and inform its participants, while providing an opportunity for organizers, partners and participants to get together in a convivial atmosphere.
Marseille-Cassis Expo covers an area of 5,000 m², welcoming over 30,000 visitors over two days.
It's the place to come for practical information on the race (race numbers, T-shirts, etc.), but also to meet the event's partners, who will be offering you a number of operations specific to Marseille-Cassis.
