Description
The 47th edition of the Marseille-Cassis Run will begin on the last Sunday in October at 9 a.m., near the CEPAC Vélodrome. As in previous years, a participants’ village will be open for the two days leading up to the race at Parc Chanot.
From the CEPAC Vélodrome toward Cassis via La Gineste, more than 20,000 cyclists from all over the world take the starting line for the Marseille-Cassis - AG2R La Mondiale race, traditionally held on the last Sunday of October.
Schedule:
Start near the CEPAC Velodrome at 9 a.m.
A 12-kilometer ride through the exceptional landscape of the Calanques National Park
Finish in Cassis, high above the town amid the vineyards.
Total race distance: 20 km.
Each year, in addition to must-see stops such as the Experts’ Area and the “Race Info” point, visitors can also enjoy a lively and entertaining race village thanks to all the partners and exhibitors in attendance.
The host village has now become a staple of major sporting events. Furthermore, any large-scale event must have a village to welcome and inform its participants, while also providing an opportunity for organizers, partners, and participants to come together in a friendly atmosphere.
Marseille-Cassis Expo covers an area of 5,000 m² and welcomes more than 30,000 visitors over the course of two days.
Visitors come here to pick up race materials and practical information (race bibs, T-shirts, etc.), but it’s also an opportunity to meet the event’s partners, who will offer a number of activities specific to Marseille-Cassis.
Friday from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
