Here’s a place to chill out at any time of day. It’s spacious and welcoming, with a terrace for sunny days, little ‘pompes à l’huile’ (olive-oil brioche) all year round, and a breakfast of pancakes, scones and Marseille croissants (croissants taste different in Marseille), homemade vegetable yoghurts or a ‘pompe’ toastie. Later in the day, you can drop in again for a bite to eat and a ‘pompe bagnat’ sandwich. Trust us, it’s the bomb! Or rather the ‘pompe’!
