It sometimes happens that your stay does not really go as planned, in order to deal with all eventualities and inconveniences, we have listed all the numbers and places that could be useful to you!

The SAMU

Contact 15  if you need  a medical team to intervene in a situationof vital distress.

Center 15 is open 24 hours a day and every day of the year.

For all hearing-impaired people, you must dial 114 by SMS.

The fire brigade

Call the 18 when there is a dangerous situation or an accident.

For example, in the event of a fire, gas leak, landslide, road accident or domestic accident.

Hearing-impaired people must dial 114 by SMS.

The Police

Call 17 in the event of a break-in, assault, theft, violence or accident requiring police intervention.

Hearing-impaired people must dial 114 by SMS.

A few safety advices

Your safety is important, so here are a few tips and measures to help you avoid problems during your stay.

In the street and public transport:

  • Make sure your handbag is closed.
  • Don’t put your wallet in your back pocket.
  • Keep an eye on your personal belongings when you’re out and about, especially in crowded places and at large gatherings.
  • Do not leave your belongings in the basket of your bike.
  • Don’t be distracted by a stranger.
  • Do not handle money on the street.

On the beach:

  • Carry only the money you need for the day.
  • Leave your valuables and identity documents safe in your accomodation.
  • Take photocopies of your passports with you.
  • Avoid highlighting wallet, jewelry, mobile phone, etc;
  • Do not leave your personal belongings unattended while swimming.

In cars:

  • Always lock the doors and the boot.
  • When parked, close the windows of your vehicle.
  • When you are away, never leave the keys in the ignition even for a short time. Do not leave your bags or luggage in the car.
