Hiking Marseille

Being a professional mountain hiking guide I hike with all kind of age groups, from young children to seniors alike and adapt my themes and hiking style consequently. Besides sharing my knowledge about the nature, the safety of my hikers is always my biggest concern and I act accordingly.
Having travelled to many parts of the world, I am a communicative person and fluently speak German, French, Spanish and English. That's why I am always happy to welcome people from any country or background on my hikes . As an inhabitant of Marseille since 6 years, I will also gladly give you insights in were to find the best restaurants and what to do in the city and its surroundings besides hiking.

This hike takes you in the Calanques National Park through pinewoods and rosemary bushes and to two of the most impressive calanques/coves whilst enjoying sweeping panoramic views of Marseille, the Calanques, the Frioul and Riou Archipels and the highest sea cliff of Europe.
Throughout the hike we will often make short breaks in order to learn about the exceptional flora and fauna of the national park and taste and smell some of natures best products like berries and spices, depending on the season. We will also learn how this rocky landscape is connected to Marseilles long history.
We will take our lunch break by the crystalline turquoise waters of Morgiou where you will be treated with a glass of wine and an appetizer of local food that changes by the season.
