Chapelle Sainte-Catherine

Historic site and monument, Religious heritage, Chapel, Gothic in Marseille 2ème
  • The chapel of "Saint-Catherine" is adjacent to the church of Saint-Laurent. It was built in 1604, for the White Penitents "les Pénitents Blancs". Its late gothic vaulting with liernes and tiercerons is unique in Marseille.

  • The chapel contains many works of art, some of which are from "Saint-Laurent".
It is only open during concerts and cultural conferences that it hosts.
