Take a walk into the heart of ‘Malmousque’

With a guide to discover all the secrets of a small fishing port.

‘Malmousque’ is the district of Marseille bathed in sunshine, with its small picturesque streets, its creeks ideal for sunbathing in peace and quiet, and its small port that we saw everywhere on Instagram this summer (special mention to the work of Street-Art dedicated to André Villas-Boas). What if we now take the time to discover its history ?

With our qualified guide, you will be able to learn about the creation of the district, its villas and its confidential spots, ideal to shine in society when you will tell everyone about your holidays.

Jump into the big bath at the ‘Bistrot Plage’

If you want to enjoy the sea with maximum comfort, we advise you to rent a deckchair at the Bistrot Plage ! This bar-restaurant and private beach is very often full in the middle of summer, but September is ideal for a moment of idleness.

The Bistrot Plage is open every day from 10 am to 11 pm .

Enjoy a meal in front of the sea

In the heart of the ‘Goudes’ village

This area is perfect to discover in the off-season under the September sun. This real little fishing village offers a plethora of great restaurants for a meal on the terrace ! Between the Grand Bar des Goudes, Chez Paul, the little new Tuba or La Grotte, just a few minutes walk from the ‘Callelongue’ cove, you are sure to find what you are looking for a summer lunch.

A bit of shopping at the Marseilles craftsmen’s shop

The ‘Panier’ suburb, the oldest district of Marseille, will be the perfect place to bring back a typical Marseille souvenir ! Its small streets are full of designer and craft shops. We recommend a stop at l’Espérantine  to taste chocolate with olive oil, a break at  la Boule Bleue  to discover all the secrets of Pétanque or a visit to the famous  santons Arterra  shop… The area also offers a large number of bars for those who prefer to relax !

Shall we have an aperitif ?

In keeping with Marseille tradition, the end of the day is synonymous with an apéritif, aniseed, rosé or soft drinks. There is something for everyone and it’s even better when you can enjoy the view ! So, with your feet directly in the water or on a sunny terrace, all you need is a few ice cubes and some pleasant company to end the day in style.
