Zoumaï

On the Cours Gouffé, just a stone’s throw from Castellane, Zoumaï is the place to go for beer fans! This independent Marseille brewery offers organic beers made on the premises on draught, bottles to take away, and even platters and pizzas for eating in. The atmosphere is friendly, with special events throughout the year. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm to 11.30pm.

La Cave Victor

Head for the 7th arrondissement, just a stone’s throw from the Saint-Victor abbey, to discover Cave Victor‘s fine selection of craft beers! On draught, in bottles or even in cans, you’ll find a wide choice of French and local beers, as well as British ones. With its small terrace on rue d’Endoume and delicious food (pizzas, spreads, burrata, etc.), this is the place to be if you’re in the neighbourhood. Open Monday to Saturday from 4pm to midnight!

La Voie Maltée

If you’re passing through Cours Julien, make a stop at 7 rue Crudère to sample La voie maltée! With ten or so beers on draught, and over 40 bottled or canned beers from all over the world, the team is determined to give you the best beer possible! The choice changes every day, and throughout the year you can also take advantage of cultural events such as art openings, DJ sets, comedy clubs, etc.

La Brasserie de la Plaine

It’s impossible to write about beer without mentioning the iconic Brasserie de la Plaine! Their beer is sold in several shops in Marseille, and you can also sign up for workshops to brew your own beer. Bière de la Plaine also has its eponymous shop on rue Saint-Pierre, open every afternoon from Wednesday to Saturday.

La Bière Academy

Just a stone’s throw from the old port, you’ll find the Bière Academy, open from Monday to Sunday. 300 craft beers in the cellar, draught beers, brewing workshops, a daily happy hour from 5pm to 8pm and summer cocktails!

Le BerThom

On the famous Cours Estienne d’Orves, BerThom offers a selection of cask and bottled beers and no fewer than 14 taps! With its large terrace, live entertainment during the week and happy hour from 7pm to 10pm, it’s the ideal place to enjoy a drink. Open every day and until 2am on weekends!
