Mas des Bécasses

Mas des Bécasses is a 160-hectare estate located in Provence along the Rhône, where the Camargue territory begins.

At its heart, this estate hides, like an oasis, a 16th-century Mas consisting of numerous buildings, almost a kilometer from the nearest neighbor, guaranteeing a property of total calm.

Formerly a vineyard, the Mas was once owned by Camargue's most famous horsewoman, who left a deep imprint on the property by turning it over to bull breeding and, above all, horse training. The property's splendid stables, covered riding arena, real bullring and immense patio give it an undeniable charm.

Now owned by one of the great names in haute couture olive oil, the estate is now devoted to olive cultivation. Selected for the finesse of its soils, Mas des Bécasses is probably the largest olive grove in France, with over 100,000 trees in a single block.

Today, this estate truly bears the marks of its dual culture. Combining the iconic tree of Provence and the Camargue horse.

The Mas des Bécasses comprises a number of high-quality buildings, including stables, barns, a covered riding arena and an arena. A janitor's cottage and 2 villas complete this exceptional Mas. The Villa Marie, dating from the 16th century, can accommodate 12 guests, and the Villa Sara, with its swimming pool in a more modern style, can accommodate 10 guests.
