Neoclassical-style house with charming garden and parking, in the heart of the lively city of Arles.
The historic center is right in front of the house, and on Saturday mornings, the great Provencal market stretches out in front of the garden gates.
Leave your car in the garden and wander around the historic center on foot to discover the city's rich heritage, its emblematic museums and contemporary art foundations, as well as its beautiful boutiques, numerous restaurants and cafés.
In the evening, let yourself be seduced by the gentle pace of life, and join the Arlesians who love the Lices district to enjoy the beautiful terraces.
When the weather's fine, breakfast is served on the terrace with fresh, local produce: homemade jams and honey, a variety of breads, viennoiseries, fresh fruit or fruit salad, cheeses, fruit juices, cold meats and eggs, and I often add a homemade cake.
With a little music in the background, if you like jazz ... otherwise you choose!
This terrace and garden are entirely at your disposal if you want to work or just chill out on a deckchair.
Maison Douce was built in 1899, and has no elevator. It is therefore unfortunately not suitable for people with reduced mobility or stair-climbing difficulties.
Children under 2 years of age are welcome free of charge at Maison Douce and will be provided with an umbrella bed to sleep in.
High chairs are also available.
I look forward to welcoming you!
