The Château de Méjanes is a former residence of the Templars from the 13th century, part of whose fortified buildings date from the 11th century. It is listed as a historical monument. In the courtyard of the Château, one can observe a calvary, the Méjanes cross (17th century) which gave the estate its emblem.
For the first year, Michèle Ricard, owner of the Domaine de Méjanes, is offering lovers of Camargue history and culture the opportunity to stay in this unique and prestigious place. As soon as you walk through the front door, you enter the legend!
This site offers 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, a large dining room that can be transformed into a reception room... a private garden where you can enjoy your meals and take advantage of the barbecue available to guests.
In the garden of the Château de Méjanes, a small independent house of 29 m² is equipped with an entrance with a double sofa, a bedroom with a double bed and a large bathroom. This accommodation is not equipped with a kitchen, so it is ideal as an extra room for the guests of the Château de Méjanes.
