Corvette Marseille soap

Created by Savonnerie du Midi, itself founded in Marseille in 1894, La Corvette® is a brand of body care and household products, some of which are Ecocert-labeled, including genuine Marseille soap.

The brand owes its name to the 3-masted ship used in the 19th century to supply raw materials to Marseille soap factories.
Drawing on the experience of the Savonnerie du Midi, La Corvette® offers an authentic and natural part of history, a Mediterranean gift rich in tradition preserved by a handful of enthusiasts, who guarantee an authenticity that has become extremely rare.

In 2020, our company was awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label, representing the excellence of French know-how. (+ EPV LOGO)
Every year, thousands of visitors to the Savonnerie can follow the soap-making process, visit the Marseille Soap Museum and the factory store. With the opening of a boutique in the heart of Marseille, on Place aux Huiles, a stone's throw from the Old Port, the Savonnerie is moving closer to the city center, while remaining true to its origins. In the 19th century, the Place aux Huiles was a Mecca for soap makers.

It is a member of the Union des Professionnels du Savon de Marseille (UPSM).
