In the heart of this garden nestled on the boulevard Michelet (surface 1,4 hectare), we find one of the rare bastides of the XVIIIth century, its owner Messire Raphaël de Magalon, gave it his name.
In some squares, the playgrounds can still be used but are under the responsibility of parents who must ensure that health regulations are respected, including physical distance.

In the heart of this garden nestled on the boulevard Michelet (surface 1,4 hectare), we find one of the rare bastides of the XVIIIth century, its owner Messire Raphaël de Magalon, gave it his name.

The general design of the bastide in the shape of an H highlights the courtyard. Further on, on the left, stands a chapel.

Two decorative fountains symbolize the Rhône and the Saône. Beyond the last of the three terraces, a lawn bordered by pruned boxwoods ends in a circular basin: vases from the Château de Grignan are placed in the four corners.

On the sides, four statues on pedestals represent the four seasons. The parterre located on the right of the bastide is decorated with a hexagonal basin. Four other vases coming from the castle of Grignan underline the four ends.

The garden was redesigned in 1901 by the landscape architect Edouard André. A true baroque garden, the values and perspectives, the spaces and depths take on their full relief by drawing geometric shapes.
