The préau des Accoules is a place for raising awarness of the arts and heritage.It occupied part of the former observatory of Marseille.
This building has a rich history, built in 1702 by the jesuits on top of the Montée des Accoules offer a fun exhibition to young public for an original approach to art objects. it invents with respect of work, mise en scenes , tools and educational routes often renewed.
Animations and workshops ( on registration) for groups and individuals.
The exhibitions are completed by different kind of events, concerts, shows and meetings.
The programme mainly focuses on discovering the rich heritage of Marseille museums and covers a wide range of themes : archaeology, Fine arts, American and African cultures, regional heritage,history, photography, contemporary art.
