The best time to see lavender

The flowering period extends from the beginning of June to the end of August, depending on the region, often between 15 June and 15 July. In the PACA region, the flowers are in full bloom first in the Alpes de Haute-Provence, then in the Vaucluse and Luberon regions until mid-August.

How to get to the lavender fields?

Plateau de Valensole from Marseille: Take the A51 motorway, exit at Manosque and follow the D6 route de Manosque to Valensole. Duration : 1h20
Plateau de Claparédes : Once in Valensole, take the D6 towards Manosque, continue towards Les Granons on the D907 and then follow the D4100 to Céreste where you will end up on the D900 towards the magnificent village with a view of Saignon.
Sault region: From Marseille, take the A51 towards Manosque and leave the A51 at exit 18. Continue on the D907, take the D105, D5, D950 and D63A towards the village of Ferrassières.
