Discover the lavender fields in Provence

And its unmissable landscapes

Marseille, the gateway to Provence, is ideally situated to admire the lavender fields in flower. It is an opportunity for visitors to discover this symbol of Provence which takes on a summery atmosphere, “the soul of Haute Provence” as Giono said.

The flowering period extends from the beginning of June to the end of August, depending on the region, often between 15 June and 15 July. In the PACA region, the flowers are in full bloom first in the Alpes de Haute-Provence, then in the Vaucluse and Luberon regions until mid-August.
