Marseille’s famous pétanque tournament returns for its 64th edition! An event to share with family and friends; petanque in Marseille is sacred!

An exceptional event

This 64th edition of the Mondial La Marseillaise will take place at the Parc Borély and some thirty other sites throughout the city. This year, the Mondial La Marseillaise celebrates its 64th anniversary.

Whether you’re an amateur or a professional, registration is open to all. More than 2,000 teams have already signed up, from all over France and abroad!

If you’d like to come as a non-participating visitor, that’s also possible! Parc Borély is open and free to all.

Open to all, regardless of license or age, this mixed competition is played in triples (men’s, women’s or mixed teams). Games are played on a 13-point direct elimination basis.
The Trophée Crédit Mutuel Mondial des Jeunes and the Grand Prix Féminin Paprec will be held from Friday July 4 to Sunday July 6, 2025.

      • 9am – 12:30pm / 2pm – 6pm: Collection of Mondial La Marseillaise game cards
      • 10 a.m.: Paprec women’s Grand Prix kicks off
      • 2:30pm: Kick-off for the Trophée Crédit Mutuel Mondial des jeunes

      • 9am – 12.30pm & 2pm – 6pm: Collection of La Marseillaise Mondial game cards
      • 9 a.m.: Mondial des CSE des entreprises
      • 9:30am: Continuation of the Paprec Women’s Grand Prix and the Crédit Mutuel Mondial Youth Trophy
      • 9:30 am: Mondial des centers sociaux

      • 9:15 a.m.: First rounds of the Mondial La Marseillaise
      • 10:30am: Paprec Women’s Grand Prix Final
      • 2pm: 2nd and 3rd rounds of the Mondial La Marseillaise
      • 3pm: Finals of the Trophée Crédit Mutuel Mondial des Jeunes

    • Monday, July 7, 2025
      • 9:15 a.m.: Game 4, followed by the Mondial La Marseillaise framing ceremony
      • 10am – 6pm: Initiation to pétanque
      • 2pm: 5th then 6th games (if necessary) of the Mondial La Marseillaise

      • 8.15am – 6pm: PROMAN Corporate Challenge
      • 9:15 am: 32nd and 16th final round of the Mondial La Marseillaise
