One of the biggest festivals in the south

After taking in some of Marseille’s most emblematic venues, including the Espace Julien, the Docks des Suds, the J4, the Friche la Belle de Mai and the Parc Chanot, 4 years ago the festival moved to the idyllic setting of the Parc Borély, one of the city’s green lungs. Over the years, Marsatac has grown to become one of the biggest festivals in the south of France (with over 30,000 festival-goers expected in 2024), featuring a host of established artists including Fonky Family (back again this year), Ghostface Killah, Amelie Lens, Orelsan, Vald and IAM.

An urban and electro programme

With the Fonky Family, Hamza, Maureen and Hamza headlining the 2025 edition, Marsatac promises an explosive rap scene. You’ll also be able to catch up with other established rappers such as La Mano 1.9, Bushi and TH.
On the electro side, festival-goers can dance to the rhythms of Wallace Cleaver, Eloi, Cera Khin, Jean-Paul Groove and many others.

As well as international and national artists, Marsatac is keen to introduce local and regional artists to the scene, offering them the chance to perform on La Frappe, a stage dedicated to emerging talent.

The artists will be spread over 4 stages:
– Le Chapitre: 100% rap stage
– Le Lac: 100% electro
– La Prairie: 50% rap, 50% electro

A sustainable and socially responsible festival

The Marsatac festival is taking a number of steps to reduce its impact on the environment , notably by setting up a green brigade during the festival, sorting waste and promoting soft mobility.

The festival is also fully involved with associations such as La Cloche and Solidarité Femmes 13, which work to promote solidarity. The festival is also working with the Safer initiative to prevent and combat sexual and gender-based violence: a 360° application, a website and a stand to help make the festival a safer place.

The festival is also setting up prevention initiatives in the festive environment, with Plus Belle la Nuit and Avenir Santé providing harm reduction equipment.

Practical info

Ticketing is now open and festival-goers can purchase their tickets directly from the official Marsatac website. Minors aged between 12 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult to gain access to the festival.

In addition, special shuttle buses will be running to the main points in Marseille and the surrounding area (Aix-en-Provence, Aubagne) until the end of the concerts. The festival also provides free, supervised parking for bikes and scooters.
