First solo exhibition by visual artist and filmmaker Mona Benyamin.
This first monographic exhibition by visual artist and filmmaker Mona Benyamin, organized by Triangle-Astérides - a contemporary art center of national interest and resident structure of the Friche Belle de Mai, in collaboration with B7L9 in Tunis - will present a new installation based on her ongoing research into the links between sound and power; as well as three earlier videos in which questions of memory and identity are embodied by her parents. Mona Benyamin's work refers to television culture, and humor and irony are for her a political tool for critical reflection.
Exhibition curators: Line Ajan and Camille Ramanana Rahary
