The first race on the professional calendar in Europe, it also kicks off the Coupe de France.
The greatest teams and champions are expected to take part in the 170 km race. The route will be published soon.
The fictitious start will be given at Château-Gombert, followed by the real one in the village of Plan-de-Cuques. The route then takes in Gréasque, Fuveau, Belcodène and Trets, before climbing the Pas de la Couelle (5.9 km at an average gradient of 4.6%), nicknamed "Le Petit Galibier" by cyclists. Next, the riders will pass through Nans-les-Pins, Gémenos, Cuges-les-Pins and Le Castellet, with a short passage through the Var. They will then go on to Roquefort-la-Bédoule, take the Pas d'Ouillier (2.3 km at 3.5%) in reverse, cross the Col de la Gineste (7.4 km at 3.2%) before arriving at the Stade Vélodrome, which was not possible for the 2025 edition. The course will run between the east of the Bouches-du-Rhône and the west of the Var. The two mountain classifications will be at Col de l'Espigoulier and Pas de la Couelle. The start is scheduled for 12.30 pm and the finish around 4 pm, for a 149 km race.
