Marseille's summer evenings

Who says there’s nothing to do on a Monday night? Head to Massilia Beach (rooftop of Prado Shopping) for the Monday Niasquew evenings! For the uninitiated, ‘se niasquer’ in Provençal means ‘to consume alcohol’ (always in moderation, of course). On the programme: electronic music, local DJs, and a great atmosphere with a view of our legendary stadium: the Orange Vélodrome. Admission is €5, and we advise you to get there early to avoid the queues!

For an evening of stand-up comedy, join the Garage Comedy Club on the seafront at the nhow Marseille hotel for the Sunset Comedy Club! It’s a venue that would put France’s finest stand-up stages to shame, with madcap comedians on hand for some exceptional evenings. Cocktails and tapas too!

La Cabane des Amis has been making a name for itself with its festive atmosphere and superb waterside spot. It’s an open-air evening with a musical programme to keep you entertained all night long. Free entry except for special events from 6pm!

Sportbeach is another top spot on Tuesday nights. It has a large outdoor area, an elegant atmosphere and playlists that alternate between current sounds and classic Marseilles parties. The perfect place for a drink by the pool before hitting the dance floor.

Every Tuesday evening from 6pm to 11pm, the magic happens on the terrace of the Capian bar at the Intercontinentalin the colours of Caribbean rum Brugal for “sunset Tuesdays”. Whether you’re looking for a lively afterwork, a special moment for two or simply to enjoy the last glimmers of sunshine in a chic and relaxed atmosphere, this is a not-to-be-missed summer rendezvous.

On Wednesdays, we’re meeting again at Place des Canailles, this time for Les Canailles d’abord, the perfect opportunity to chat, dance and enjoy with friends! From 5pm, enjoy Happy Hour over a cold pint, house cocktail or glass of wine, accompanied by a DJ set to your favourite hits. From 7pm, the chill sounds give way to a more dynamic atmosphere: house, pop, variety… there’s something for everyone, always in the festive, friendly spirit of Les Canailles.

Every Wednesday evening, the sound garden concerts return to the Talus garden ! Come and discover local artists at a concert, eat a seasonal meal or sip a drink by the pond, in the vegetable garden or on the roof terrace.

Sportbeach also organises pool parties on Wednesdays, with slides, surfing and a mechanical bull! Take a dip in the water to cool off, dance to the rhythm of the DJ set and enjoy a chic but relaxed atmosphere.

For a completely wild evening, head to J4 for Twerkistan! Admission is free, so you can listen to DJ sets by international underground artists, enjoy the TWK ROOM with video recordings, an artisanal refreshment bar, food trucks, a designer village and a wide range of entertainment. It’s a festive, friendly and unmissable part of Marseille’s summer.

On Thursday evenings, the R2 hosts ‘ Love on the Rooftop ‘, an evening combining cocktails, breathtaking views and a spellbinding musical programme. Come here for a snack, a drink, a dance under the stars, to meet new people and let yourself be carried away.

Every Thursday, La Paillote Borélyinvites you to its “Apéro de la paillote“, featuring a DJ, cocktails, pizzas, a clientele aged between 30 and 60 and a festive atmosphere with a lovely sunset!

The Sky Rooftop is the essential rooftop to start an evening to the sound of electronic music and the djs of the moment. This second home of Cabaret Aléatoire in summer welcomes you from Wednesday to Friday from 6pm to 11.30pm, and it’s free on reservation at 6 rue Joseph Biaggi 13003!

Le Chapiteau is an urban oasis in the Belle de Mai: organic bar, club, restaurant, pétanque pitch… in a 100% recycled space. With DJ sets, tapas and good humour, it’s the ideal place to party all year round in Marseille.

Fancy an evening of R&B and hip-hop? Then head for Bounce! Nestling in the heart of the Vieux-Port, this trendy spot is one wild night after another. The perfect place to dance, have fun and party the night away.

Perched on the rooftop of the Terrasses du Port,R2 transforms itself every Friday night into a time machine heading back to the 2000’s. On the programme: legendary hits, nostalgic playlists and a festive atmosphere under the stars… with the added bonus of a breathtaking panoramic view over the Mediterranean.

At the Friche la Belle de Mai, the On Air evening transforms the rooftop into a veritable urban festival. DJ sets, live music, foodtrucks and art installations create a unique atmosphere where music, art and relaxation come together. Ideal for those looking for a cultural and festive experience.

Last but not least, Place des Canailles is hosting “ Vendredi c’est party “: an evening of 90s hits that attracts a varied audience and gets the dancefloor moving from the first notes. The DJs mix the best tracks, from 90s nostalgia to current hits, for a sequence of pop, dance, house and variety that gets everyone on the same wavelength.

The rooftop terrace of the Friche la Belle de Maiis the place to start with their On Air evenings, where for €5 you can enjoy a great view over Marseille, several bars and food-trucks, and different DJ sets every week. A chilled-out atmosphere, where everyone is welcome, from 7pm to 11pm.

For an intimate electro night out, head for Le Baby Club. Located in the city centre, it’s a cult spot for house and techno fans, with cutting-edge DJ sets and a dance floor that’s always buzzing until the early hours.

At the R2, Saturdays take on an XXL party feel with the Hot Paradise evening. From 7pm onwards, it’s beer-pong on the rooftop, red cups in hand and friendly rivalries rekindled as if it were yesterday. From Calvin Harris to David Guetta and Major Lazer, the playlist smells of summer, freedom and feel-good hits that make you want to sing at the top of your lungs.

La Place des Canailles is going into summer mode with its beach parties that smell of holidays. It’s all about fun, style and sunny looks: Hawaiian shirts, colourful dresses and flashy sunglasses are just the thing to get you in the mood. To the sunny rhythms of the DJs, you can dance, laugh and enjoy the seaside atmosphere. It’s all about good humour and colour in the heart of Marseille.

Come aboard L’Ilienne for one of Marseille’s most emblematic summer events, Les apéros du bateau! Along the way, as the sun sets over the Mediterranean, enjoy a cocktail and let yourself be carried away by a live performance or a DJ set by exceptional artists offering a privileged audience unforgettable performances in a spectacular setting.

To round off the week in style, Place des Canailles is putting the spotlight on reggaeton. DJ Lao, from Barcelona, will be mixing up the most bewitching Latin sounds, taking the dancers into an atmosphere worthy of the beaches of Puerto Rico or legendary clubs like Pacha.

Every Sunday, join the PH4collective on the Sablines beach (near l’Escale Borély) for a unique experience from 5pm to 1am! There’s a chill-out deckchair area with access to the sea, a dancefloor for dancing with your mates, and plenty of food and drink.
