S.W.A.G Studio: Inclusion through dance

This recently opened school brings people together and breaks all the codes! The rule is simple: whatever your style, background or level, the most important thing is to express yourself. Dancers from all over the world teach their varied cultures through their choreography. Throughout the week, dance to the rhythm of the dances on offer: reggaeton, afro, lifefeet or break!

Bonus: this inclusive school located near the Old Port opens up the world of dance to as many people as possible by offering access to disabled people at a preferential rate. A hip-hop class in sign language is also held every Tuesday. Want to try it out? There are classes available by the unit, by the month or by the year.

Pacific School : The art of learning

The two schools at La Joliette and Castellane in the 2nd and 6th arrondissements offer a wide choice of dance classes for all ages. Here, the main aim is to keep up with the moove! Specialising in Afro dance (of all kinds) and urban dance such as hip-hop, breakdance and dancehall, Pacific School boasts experienced teachers who teach with passion. You’ll join different groups at different levels, so you can improve as you go.

D12: In the heart of the Belle de Mai

Located in the Belle de Mai district, the D12 school teaches a range of dance classes: contemporary, jazz, classical and barre à terre for beginners and advanced dancers. The school’s extensive facilities, based in two dance studios, can accommodate classes for children, teenagers and adults at quarterly or annual rates.

Ideal for those wishing to combine pleasure and technical progress, this advanced venue also organises shows, evenings, courses and training sessions.

Coco Swing Marseille: The colourful school

If you’re looking for an original dance school where good humour reigns, then you’ve come to the right place! Specialising in jazz dance, Coco Swing invites you into its world!

On the programme: Solo Jazz and Lindy Hop at different levels: beginner, cool, fanatic, boost or fanatic.
Whether you want to dance solo or with a partner, the aim is to have fun, because here people come to share a good time!

Marseille Danse Academy: A journey through dance

Marseille Danse Academy takes you on a journey without leaving Marseille! In this school you’ll find all the dance styles practised in the four corners of the globe: Latin dances (bachata, kizomba, salsa, Brazilian), heels, afro, street jazz, rock, hip-hop and commercial. Children, teenagers and adults have access to almost 100 hours of classes a week, at different levels.

Envol des sens: The Saint-Just classic

L’envol des sens, located in the 13th arrondissement, is a studious dance school that prepares its students for the Confédération Nationale de Danse competitions. Open to all, the school’s favourite dances are classical and contemporary, but it also offers character dances and pilates classes.

Accessible by level, you can choose to attend one or more classes a week, depending on your mood. While the school is rigorous, you’ll be working in a friendly group to perfect your technique.
