Excursion A Day in Provence

While driving along the docks between the Rhône river and the medieval walls, you will enter Avignon, the majestic city of the Popes. Take a look at Saint-Benezet bridge, famous for thechildren's song “Sur le Pont d'Avignon”, and see the Popes' Palace which is the biggest gothic style palace in Europe (entrance tickets not included).

Discover the wines of the Rhône river valley in the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape which castle dominates the vineyard. Wine-tasting included.

Drive to the Pont du Gard, best preserved remains of the Roman aqueduct which supplied water to the city of Nîmes.(museum ticket entrance not included).

The tour continues toward the Alpilles mountain range. Located on a rocky spur overlooking thevalley, the medieval village of Les Baux de Provence will lead you to an unforgettable journey intothe past.

Free time for lunch (not included) on your own during the day.

Please note that on certain days, a quick drive through Aix-en-Provence to pick up and drop off passengers may be included.
