Marseille International Fair 2022

23 Sept. 2022 > 3 Oct. 2022

The Marseille Fair is back! This 2022 edition is placed under the sign of gastronomy. 11 days of exhibitions, parties and good mood for the pleasure of the most gourmets. Let us guide you, we explain everything!

Published on 15 September 2022

Marseille International Fair

As every year, the fair is spread over the whole site of the  Parc Chanot.
You will find the Outdoor  part with swimming pools, spas, gardens and other barbecues, all spread out on Esplanades 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8. As last year, a space is entirely dedicated to the l’Automobile on Esplanade 2.

This year, Esplanade 4 and 8 are also dedicated to sport with a focus on the Rugby World Cup 2023 and the Olympic Games  2024.  Part of Hall 2 is dedicated to Virtual sports. A competition is being held there and brings together more than 500 players (online and on site) for the  “Coupe de Marseille” ( FIFA competition).  You will also find a virtual reality ring, a car driving simulation, a laser game and many other virtual and innovative activities.

Halls 1, 2, 3 and 8 are devoted to the home and the habitat, where you will find absolutely everything for your interior, decoration, crafts, furnishing, work advice, and this year, a space dedicated to regional inventions and innovations, all designed to improve our daily life! And of course the indispensable and inevitable demonstrators, who reveal a lot of household objects, appliances and ustensils,  each one more amazing than the last. Hall 8 is also dedicated to beauty and well-being.

Halls 1 and 6 are dedicated to the world’s crafts, a complete change of scenery! If you want to go to Italy, Hall 1 is the place to be, for a short tour in the Tropics, go outside on esplanade 4, if you prefer the warmth and the Moroccan atmosphere, head to Hall 8 forecourt! A true tour of the world where smells, atmospheres and tastings are sure to make you travel.

This year, in keeping with the theme of the fair,  hall 5 renamed « la régalade » for the occasion, is entirely dedicated to gastronomy! It is divided into 3 distinct areas. The Provençal village, where specialities from our beloved region are on display. The Food Truck village, where burgers, Italian and Mexican specialities are waiting for you, you will be spoilt for choice! And finally,  the Podium  where culinary workshops, cooking competitions, animations and interventions of great chefs will delight young and old alike. This year,  Chef Norbert Tarayre is the sponsor of this edition.

The Lunch break

Is it the time for lunch? The choice is vast. From the Provençal village (Hall 5) to the Corsican village (hall 7), via the gourmet terrace where more than a hundred stands and specialities from all over the world are waiting to satisfy your culinary desires! The choice that awaits you will be complicated!

Gourmet events

The Marseille Fair is also 11 days of musical, sporting, cultural and, of course, gourmet events!

The first weekend ( 24 and 25 september) will be dedicated to Mediterranean flavors.  You will attend numerous demonstrations given by chefs from Marseille and Provence. A competition for amateur chefs will also be organised over these 2 days.

The 2nd week-end (October 1 and 2) will be dedicated to the famous  Pêche Melba dessert. A competition will also be organised around this delicious dessert invented by   Auguste Escoffier. The association “les disciples d’Escoffier” (the oldest cook’s  association in the world) will host this gourmet weekend with creative workshops, demonstrations and conferences.

To prepare your visit even better, the organisers have set up a digital platform named Massaliote so that everyone can discover the exhibitors and products but also benefit from discounts!
