Marseille will host the Olympic sailing events and 10 matches in the Olympic soccer tournament. As these two sports are not represented at the Paralympic Games, there will be no Paralympic events in Marseille.

Marseilles will host 12 days of sailing competition - from July 28 to August 8 - bringing together 330 athletes from 40 different nations. The special feature of the Olympic events is that competitors compete on identical boats.
