The Friche la Belle de Mai, a former tobacco factory, is today an international well-known cultural complex. Funded and managed by SFT, the Friche spreads out on 4 hectares and includes a great multipurpose hall, 2 movie or theatre’s areas, a concert hall, a restaurant, a cyber café and a 100 places car-park to welcome your events. Focused on creation and artistic showing, it’s the leading place in Marseille for cultural activity. And it’s also an uncommon environment that will contribute to give your event an unusual or trendy side. The audience is pleased to be welcomed in the heart of an artists’ universe. The Friche houses a 450 seats auditorium in a multipurpose room called the Cartonnerie, especially suitable for great events like conventions, conferences, shows, screenings, cocktail parties… Customized services with estimates can be provided in sound, lighting, video, Internet, exhibitions, shows or concerts. This venue has a 200-places gourmet restaurant (Les Grandes Tables), which also provides a bar or a catering service for Friche’s clients.
